The Adult Learner: Issues and Answers for Struggling LearnersDescription:Based upon the National Institute for Learning (NIFL) studies, this session offers insights and resources for staff and teachers working with adults who struggle with learning difficulties. These research-based, single-topic sessions are customized to address a variety of critical issues in learning including the following: learning disabilities and accommodations, adult learning theory, executive functioning, participatory learning, multi-sensory instruction, authentic materials, Brain Gym, and a wide range of other adult learning concerns.
